The COA / GC-MS reading guide
Every certificate line translated into buyer meaning. A spec is only real when it comes from an actual batch COA — never assumed from origin.
The PA fraction. Higher generally means a stronger, rounder fixative — and a higher band. Read it off GC-MS, not the label.
Density at 20°C. Values outside the window can flag dilution or adulteration. Cross-check with refractive index.
Patchouli is strongly levorotatory (negative). A shift toward zero is a red flag for cutting.
Iron from stills darkens oil and dulls pale bases. Iron-free / MD grades run low; ask for the ppm figure.
From dark amber (standard) to near water-white (decolorized). Drives suitability for clear cosmetics.
A quick authenticity cross-check paired with SG. Part of a complete COA alongside SDS/TDS.
The trace should show patchoulol as the lead fraction with a coherent sesquiterpene profile — the single most telling page.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Typical MOQ runs 100–1000 kg depending on grade and origin, shipped in drums of roughly 180–200 kg (epoxy-lined or HDPE). Sample volumes are handled separately. As of 2026; confirm per order.
What are lead times?
Lead time bands depend on harvest, grade availability and documentation. Standard PA from steady origins moves faster than iron-free / MD lots. We quote a band per order rather than a fixed promise, and never guarantee customs clearance.
Do I get a COA per lot?
Yes — binding patchoulol %, specific gravity, refractive index and optical rotation come from the actual batch COA and GC-MS of the drum shipped, plus SDS/TDS. We never assume a spec from origin.
Can you meet iron limits for pale cosmetic bases?
Iron-free and molecularly distilled grades run low iron (often single-digit ppm) for pale and clear formulations. The exact ppm is confirmed on the batch COA, not assumed from the grade name.
What is your sample policy?
Samples are available for qualifying trade buyers so you can run your own GC-MS before committing a drum. Terms are stated per request; we’d rather you verify than take our word.
